a Shake the Dust Retreat
7-10 May 2026
in Ryd, Southern Sweden

yoga with a view

Wild Roots is a gathering for coming together - in honesty, movement, and presence.

Deep in the Swedish forest, we journey to meet the ground beneath us and the wildness within us. Here, we move with what is. Nothing to fix. Nothing to force. Just space to explore, express and be.

Among roots, water and spring air, we leave space for what wants to surface. We shake loose what’s heavy, and let the forest and lake take what we no longer need.

Come as you are. Move as you are. Let the land steady you and your own wildness guide you.

What is included

our shala

Morning & Evening practice
+ extra gatherings

Each morning, we’ll begin our day with Shake the Dust - an energetic mix of shaking, moving, dancing and maybe even a bit of singing. A vibrant practice to awaken your body & to help you embrace the rhythm of your life force.

As the day winds down, we’ll gather for soft practices like yin and myofascial release: a gentle, restorative practice designed to invite softness and to fully surrender our bodes into rest and renewal.

delicious food

Three meals per day

Each day of the retreat, we’ll gather around the table to enjoy three delicious, plant-based meals lovingly prepared by our friend and chef, Lena.

Her dishes are vibrant, grounding, and crafted with intention - designed not only to fuel you throughout the day but also to offer a sense of comfort and connection.

First meal of the retreat is dinner on Thursday and last meal is brunch on Sunday.

sauna by the lake

Sauna

Throughout the retreat, you’ll have the opportunity to experience both guided saunagus sessions and open sauna hours you can join whenever it feels right for you. The lakeside sauna is one of the most magical spots on the ground - warm, wooden, and perfectly placed for watching the sun melt into the horizon.

Your hosts

Hey friends, hosting retreats has truly become a cornerstone of my journey as a facilitator. There’s something deeply fulfilling about gathering people together and witnessing the way a group evolves, how each individual grows, and how we can support each other on our paths of self-discovery. It’s an honor to be part of this shared experience. I’m in awe of the profound magic that unfolds when we spend time in connection with nature and with one another. - Emily

Shake the Dust is my favorite practice of all. Witnessing bodies shifting from doing into being, finding freedom within form and liberating themselves in movement and expression moves me deeply. For me, this practice feels like the ultimate way to deal with life: to widen our capacity and ability to be with all the tastes. I cannot wait to dedicate a whole retreat to this. Leaving space for the dust to also settle and for us to just be (in) nature, together.

- Janni
