“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.” The Bhagavad Gita

Yoga means union. There is no separation between us and our environment, us and the suffering of others, us and the joy of others. Everything we do affects others, the words we speak, the actions we take. When we live mindfully and take care of ourselves we can contribute to the peace and happiness of not only us but also everyone around us.

My teaching combines anatomical guidance with freedom of movement. In my Vinyasa classes you are invited to explore the breath-body connection and to challenge your body and mind, maintaining a calm breath and a playful attitude. Sthira and Sukha, ease and strength, softness and effort, are key elements of my classes. In Yin and Slow Flow classes I

invite you to dive deeper into your own experience of the body and to find mindfulness in movement and stillness.
