I have been hosting yoga events and retreats regularly for the last 5 years. This FAQ will guide you through the essential information and help you make a conscious decision about my retreats and events.

What types of yoga retreats do you offer?
I organise a variety of yoga retreats tailored to different levels and interests. These include:
Weekend retreats focused on relaxation and stress relief, ideal for beginners or those with busy schedules.
5 day long- immersive retreats in Italy that combine the slow Italian living, daily yoga sessions, meditation, journalling and sharing circles. And some group activities and adventures.
Week-long retreats in exotic countries (like Thailand) to dive into new cultures and to find pure relaxation and nourishment.
Each retreat is carefully planned to balance physical practice with rest and connection to nature. For example, my retreats in Denmark often take place in peaceful countryside locations, offering a chance to disconnect from everyday distractions.
How do you choose locations for your yoga events?
Location is key to creating the right atmosphere for a retreat. I select venues based on:
Natural surroundings that promote calm and inspiration, such as forests, lakesides, or coastal areas.
Comfortable accommodations that support restful sleep and community interaction.
Accessibility for international guests, with nearby airports or train stations.
Facilities that allow indoor and outdoor yoga practice regardless of weather.
For international retreats, I partner with trusted centers in countries known for their sustainability, yoga culture and natural beauty. This ensures participants experience authentic environments that enhance their retreat experience.
Are the retreats suitable for beginners?
Yes, many of my yoga retreats welcome beginners. Sessions are designed to be inclusive, with modifications offered for different skill levels. The goal is to create a supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable exploring yoga at their own pace.
If you are new to yoga, I recommend starting with a weekend retreat or to join some yoga classes before attending a retreat. This allows you to build foundational skills and gain confidence before moving on to a deeper dive into the practice like on a retreat.
Can I attend if I have physical limitations or injuries?
Safety is a priority. I encourage you to share any physical limitations or injuries when you register. This helps me tailor the practice or suggest suitable retreats. Many yoga styles I teach include gentle options and restorative poses that support healing and mobility.
A retreat is so much more than just a physical experience, and it is not about what you can do but how you show up for yourself in the community.
How do payment plans work for your retreats?
I understand that investing in a retreat can be a significant decision. To make it easier, I offer flexible payment plans for most yoga retreats and events. Here’s how they typically work:
You pay a deposit to secure your spot.
The remaining balance is divided into equal instalments over a set period before the retreat starts.
Payment schedules and terms are provided at registration, and you can choose yourself how many instalments you want to pay.
This approach allows you to budget comfortably without missing out on the experience. If you need a customized plan, please reach out, and we can discuss options.
What is included in the retreat price?
Retreat pricing usually covers:
Accommodation for the duration of the retreat.
All scheduled yoga classes and workshops.
Most meals, often focusing on healthy, locally sourced ingredients.
Access to retreat facilities such as meditation spaces, pools, or nature trails.
Sometimes additional activities like excursions or cultural experiences.
Travel costs to and from the retreat location are generally not included. Insurance is not included.
I provide clear information about what is covered so you can plan accordingly. And I can help you organise your travels to and from the retreat venue.
How many participants are there in each retreat?
Group size varies depending on the venue and retreat type. Typically, I keep groups small, between 8 and 16 participants, to maintain a personal and intimate atmosphere. Smaller groups allow for more individual attention and foster a sense of community.
Can I join a retreat alone?
Absolutely. Many participants come solo and find the retreat a wonderful opportunity to meet like-minded people and build friendships. The retreat environment encourages connection through shared practice, meals, and group activities.
I always create a group chat a month or more before the retreat starts to connect you with other attendees to help you feel more comfortable and to help you find travel buddies.
What if I need to cancel my booking?
Cancellation policies vary by retreat but generally include:
Deposit is non-refundable, unless you take care of finding a new participant to take your spot.
No refund for cancellations close to the retreat date, but your spot is transferrable to another participants if you find that.
How do you support sustainable and ethical practices?
I am committed to running retreats that respect the environment and local communities. This includes:
Choosing eco-friendly venues and minimizing waste.
Supporting local suppliers and organic food producers.
Encouraging participants to reduce plastic use and respect nature.
Promoting fair pricing and accessibility through payment plans.
Sustainability is a shared responsibility, and I invite all participants to join in caring for the places we visit.
What makes your yoga retreats unique?
My retreats combine authentic yoga practice with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I bring years of teaching experience and a passion for creating spaces where people can grow physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Whether in Denmark or at international retreats, I focus on:
Integrating yoga philosophy with practical tools for daily life.
Offering a balance of movement, meditation, and relaxation.
Creating lasting connections among participants.
This approach helps many attendees return year after year, feeling renewed and inspired.
